Why are my downloads always corrupted?
If your downloads are corrupted, then your computer’s temporary folders may need clearing.
Here's what to do:
1. In Windows, go to Start > Run and type in "cleanmgr" and press enter.
2. Then select the drive with windows installed (usually C:)
3. Then, please check "Temporary Internet Files" and "Temporary Files". The rest can be unchecked.
4. Last, click the OK button.

What can I do if SpywareStop is not displaying correctly?
1. Please download the latest Windows updates including service packs.
2. Check that your computer’s screen resolution is set to at least 800 x 600
To change or check your screen resolution, please go to Window's Start > Settings > Control panel and select Display in the control panel. Once Display is open please go to settings to check or change the screen resolution.
3. If you still have a problem, please install the latest version of your video card drivers/software.

How do I get the latest updates for SpywareStop?
SpywareStop Automatically checks for and downloads any updates each time it is started so you will always have the latest updates.

How do I make SpywareStop Ignore certain items?
1. Please do a scan with SpywareStop.
2. Please click the "Check/Uncheck All" button.
3. Pleace check the item(s) you want ignore.
4. Last, please click the "Ignore" button to add the item(s) to the Ignore List.

What is a "Deep Scan" in SpywareStop and when should I use it?
A Deep Scan is used to remove spyware files that have randomly created names and uses a special file ID to recoginize renamed spyware files.
Because a Deep Scan takes longer, we recommend using it only when you have a problem that is not going away.
To enable Deep Scan, please go to the settings screen of SpywareStop and check "Deep Scan".

How do I get rid of the runtime error 13 message?
Please download the latest version from Here
Then, please uninstall SpywareStop and reinstall it to a different directory such as:
C:\Program Files\SpywareStop2

Why am I having problems shutting down my computer?
Some computers have problems with the startup file for ErrorKiller, so please open Error Killer and go the options screen and uncheck the option to start with windows.

Why does SpywareStop put items into the Quarantined List?
First, the items found by SpywareStop are deleted from their orignal location. Then, a secure backup copy is made in the quarantined folder.
The reason we make the backup copy is in case any member ever needs to restore anything.

How do I remove the startup screens for SpywareStop and ErrorKiller?
For SpywareStop, please go into the settings screen and uncheck "Start SpywareStop when windows starts".
For ErrorKiller, please open the program and go the options screen and uncheck the option to start with windows.

How do I uninstall SpywareStop and ErrorKiller?
Please go to Start > Settings > Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs. From there you can select to uninstall SpywareStop and ErrorKiller.
